I'd be willing to argue this, but China. They have some of the most sophisticated electronics manufacturing robots known. Think of the microsoldering and packaging that goes into an iPhone. Amazing stuff. On the other hand, retail monsters like "The Gap have their entire inventory automated by line following robots with pressure lifts. From the time you place an order until your article gets loaded on the back of a truck. The first time a human comes in contact is loading of the truck.
