Why is twitter still trading?

I thought twitter stock trading would not resume after musk made that deal .
Is that deal not official yet?
It was halted yesterday and today it is down again

after he is a major shareholder?

a single powerful twitt can cause billions of dollars in profit / loss

My bad. I Thought that regulatory halt would remain in place as they agreed on $54.20 .
I bought tiny amount of shares at $48 recently and I was happy to get $54.20 but I guess that is still not secured.
I guess I am gonna sell it .

I agree with you . Musk is the biggest twitter manipulator we have ever known. That 44b investment will be the best investment he ever made until he buys SEC too

Being privately held should keep them away from the bulk of government scrutiny.

Unless, the ban was self-inflicted by China itself. (Which, I think was the case here, unsure tho.)

All they have to do is use a VPN to bypass it.

Musk did what he did to save Tesla from the short-sellers, that's the only reason.
