Chile is much more multi-ethnic than many other South American countries.
Ok. Can you think of any countries with "homogenous" populations where looting has occurred or very well could occur?
EDIT: actually, Chile does not appear that diverse: "white and white-Amerindian 95.4%, Mapuche 4%, other indigenous groups 0.6%"

although, intelligence obviously plays a significant role, one must consider the long term effects of robbing, pillaging and destroying the very fabric of a civilized society before breaking a window and stealing a TV.
but that consideration defines cultural norms and is established by the larger group as a whole and that conclusion is shared by those subscribing to that particular culture regardless of intelligence...
I mentioned small town Mid-west, these folks have established a culture in which calamity does not present a situation in which to break into FootLocker and get some new sneakers. Japan, is the definition of such a culture.
Hence the anxiety of having someone like Obama in the White House. This dude in no way, shape or form, defends the culture I subscribe to. Excuse After Fucking Excuse, is all you get from this guy. Now his excuses are no longer playing, he simply exits stage left. Expect for him to primarily blame racism in his memoirs. It's such a broken record by now that it has reached the level of comedy. (Actually, it's been laughed at for decades)
Precisely, which is why it's clear the whites and yellows are either vastly more morally corrupt, unintelligent, or both, as their behavior has accomplished the destruction of civilized society for tens and hundreds of millions.
