Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

agreed on the fuseboard - so stranded copper cores you call flexible power cables - well, here to learn

stranded as in more than one core..flex cable is multi stranded to make it flexible..any power carrying cable above 2.5 mm sq is stranded to increase the current carrying capacity..if 4 or 6 mm sq was one solid core it would not have the same current carrying capacity due to the resistance..

i have terminated 240 mm sq cable..not easy when you are trying to connect it to a main breaker that might only be 12" from the top of the panel..and you sometimes only get one chance to crimp the lug..as there might not be room to leave a bit spare !!!

anyway..that was a long time ago..and i was young and foolish..today i am older..but still foolish..but in a different way :)

Yeah... let's all get into the Flow - Trading in the Zone...

Uhmmm... I don't think so.

"What every trader has to realise, is that all the risk management and position sizing techniques in the world are of no use what so ever, unless the trader is aware of the obvious pre-requisite to trading any market."

Several posters pointed out that there's indeed another way of "looking" at charts.
"Obvious" and simple once you know it.
Giving you an edge of 85 - 95%...
but still subject to one's greed and fear.

I keep digging.

let us say you are correct..so..if everyone is looking at the same thing..as in price movement..then what can make a difference..with all other things being equal..such as major and minor S&R levels ?

also..if it is a "pre-requisite" ..then surely this means that one must be aware of it..before trading!

Possibly look at non-standard bar intervals, or creating an awkward session template that shows only specific hours?

If not that... S/R is drawn in a myriad of mainstream ways. Multiple rejections, the sharpest of rejections, or using S that turns to R and vice-versa, or picking His/Los from specific Bar intervals, or using Volume @ Price or other equivalents, and likely a dozen other possibilities.... so point being, maybe there is a way to pick it out that is not quite mainstream?

Seriously, full stop, is the pre-requisite not... knowing how to read the chart in which you are trading? o_O

In a night club, every man is looking at the same gorgeous and sexy lady, but only one man will get lucky and dance (or even sleep) with her.

Then what can make a difference, with all other things being equal (like you just said.).. ...?

True.

You can also sing this song in a Karaoke bar.

No woman, and I mean no woman can resist that song my friend, try it and see for yourself... :D

This terrific love song was later reworked by French singer Hugues Aufray (a family friend from my mother's side):
