Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

What really makes me laugh..is how stupid I really was for years on end..I was so stupid..I actually thought I knew something of real value..kinda like that elusive "edge" you keep hearing the self proclaimed experts talking about!

When you finally "wake up"..you will see the markets for what they really are..a method for transferring wealth from the many..to the few.

Of course..if all depends on how "stupid" you really are..or if you can really learn from your mistakes.. most can not..hence the cycle continues over and over.

Just make sure you do not become a statistic..and for that to happen..you need to radically change the way you think..and the way you operate..if not..then you might as well be "pissing against the wind" :)
 
Oh yes..Mr eug..any market..it does not matter one little bit once you can see it for what it really is..as..your results are due to your actions..think about it..next time you look at a MA crossover to predict market direction :)

How time flies when you are having fun. 2000 seemed just like yesterday! That was the year I quit my day job and never looked back.

By the way you are right that was one painful drawdown but fortunately I survived.:vomit:

Yes..you must be doing something right then :)

As for charts..I find it interesting how different things look when you look at them differently..of course everything is relative..and a lot depends on what your trading strategy is..and your objective. I continually experiment with new ideas..more so to keep the brain active though :)

No skill at all, I was just lucky. In 2000 we used the profits/money to buy a house. We call it our Cisco house.:D
