Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Oh wait, yes, I forgot, I can use Level II and T&S to see what the MM's are doing, what a joke, really

Or, maybe the $PREM is indicating that program trading is now kicking in and the spurt should last a few minutes

Or, maybe the fact that the market pauses every 10 min to just let everyone know what way it is going - another gem

an expert is someone who has made every possible mistake in a verry narrow field....

Please, don't start to rhyme, but it would be great if you could continue your thoughts. Thank you.

Reading any of 3 perfectly good books by Taleb, and looking at the charts every day is a real eye opener -

sh*t
hit the button too soon
Another intereting thing I found out

When the weatherman says '60% chance of rain today'

he does not mean that there is a 60% likelyhood that the factors that cause a rain storm will come together today at some point

apparently he means that in the past when 'similar' conditions have been present, it has rained 60% of the time

those are 2 very different things
:)

Suddenly, it has become obvious, right?
...
What about this:

"an expert is someone who has made every possible mistake in a verry narrow field...."

If you didn't borrow the phrase from somewhere, could you continue please?

"an expert is someone who has made every possible mistake in a very narrow field"... Niels Bohr

Having analyzed the snot out of things like $Prem for god knows how long - and concluding it won't help knowing $Prem (after paying 110 bucks a month good money to get it from esignal)

I think the quote is apt, don't you?

Has anyone given the correct answer to the thread's title yet?

The obvious is not obvious because the majority of people do not know how to think correctly.

Short & sweet.
