Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

i believe you asked this before and were looking for 'iterative process' as the answer.

The repeated process of analysis. Study, man, study !

Then again maybe i was just hallucinating :)

I like that. It would be nice to be on the bottom or top of that. If on the bottom, I'd cash out, if on the top, I like how it looks pending if the entry spot is the "right" one.

I was at steam turbine school in Las Vegas,
the past week.
Interesting machine the steam turbine.
The first steam engine was invented by
Hero in around 300 BC.
The priests in the temple needed to
have a magical way to appear in front of the
crowd. Hero's steam engine supposedly produced
a large cloud of steam and then the priests would
emerge from the cloud.

well said MN..the worst thing a trader can use is his/her gut feeling..anyone who pushes that crap does not have a clue what they are talking about and have just read some shite printed by some idiot who had nothing better to do with his time:D

the pattern thing you mentioned is very important:)

what if someone told you that all that pattern stuff is one heap load of shite..and all it is..is someone trying to justify what has happened..for what ever reason..whether they have just lost money or lost face:D

it goes something like this..if you want to make money you must be prepared to risk some money..if you are afraid to lose money then you are finished from the start

once you get over the fear factor..next comes the learning of the little details that are inherent in the stock market..we will stick with stocks and leave the futures to the real experts:D

now..what is the best way to learn anything:)

By experience.

Anything could happen - rise, fall, chop about.

After a rapid rise a fallback maybe expected so I'd try a short trade. I'd like to see a couple more bars rising a bit and then starting to fall again and then enter, with a stop above the peak.
