I have some gardening chores as well today, trimming bushes, but power tools are a great help.

I seem to recall that JH once claimed that he is paid to post on ET, if thats the case then no chance of restrictions being applied. Maybe I was over the top in my criticisms, but I don't feel it is worth my time to try to decrypt his ramblings and he attracts an unwelcome crowd too. Time is too precious and I have little enough spare time as it is.

Regarding the excel chart, I suspect you didn't need to do much if any programming to produce it. Excel is a tool which we all have or should have as its easily obtained. I should get to grips with it more as I have some pdfs on VBA which I'll look at when time permits. I use matlab to assist in scans of end of day data from yahoo finance.

I'm unclear what is going on in the bid and ask being highlighted in green and red when there is no corresponding volume.

look from bid size 381 up..in green highlight..and look at the charts also..should then become obvious

in relation to excel..yes..no programming required..just some simple formatting and maybe a few little formulas here and there

most important is processor..ram and hd..or should i say ssd..as u can see my ssd returns the highest score for disk transfer rate..which u need..otherwise excel updates will be too slow..and of no use for what is required here

expensive graphics cards are not required..i have 2 cards..with no cooling fans..and i can get up to 12 monitors working if i like..but for now i am back to 4..may go to 5..have capacity for 8 now..for new FFT setup..if required

hell.. i took out a very expensive card and put in the 2 cards i bought on ebay..both for about 20 sterling..including postage..expensive card was too noisy and was annoying me..so out it came..and i can now also have 12 monitors if i want..but will have to buy a few accessories..which is still cheaper than expensive card..which had max of 6 monitors
