I see that too. May get a short term rally. But the market is still headed lower. It just doesn't feel like a capitulation day (maybe it would have if it just kept dropping all day long...).

Who can remember in 2001-2002 the financial media everyday, the markets close up off their lows, but still down for the day as barging hunters swoop in to lift the market off its lows blah blah blah.

Lets see housing prices falling, folks feel less optimistic, stock portfolios now falling feeling less optimistic, gas prices NOT falling feeling less optimistic, rates rising less optimistic.
