You are correct..
Too many traders are oblivious to quickly adapting to different sectors and the stocks in those sectors..
A trader should know various sectors and the stocks in each sector.

I ONLY did it once, mainly because i knew i was not an Annie Moses Oakley or BuffaloW bill
Bought some expensive options on MOS= bullseye
YTD, EtFs are doing better than my single stocks P+L[except starting position tech ETF today]
But great thing about capital markets;
MPC, MUR, MOS, TSLA......... QQQ, VEA,spy could sell for $293,000, like Annie Moses Oakley's Parker Bros shotgun @ auction LOL.
Give them plenty of time+ a good auction day
