Why is Ninja Trader worth $1,000.00?

EX,

Well...your trades are on fire these days...I am getting Tradovate back shortly (maxed out the sim to 30 days, so now I gotta' fund)...so that I can follow along. I guess for me...I gotta' give up before I can begin. The story of my life.

Meanwhile, I lost 93 bucks to a subscription to a system that just does not fit me...so back to volume trading/practicing. Your stuck with me I guess.

NT7 has some tools that can improve your sytem EX...but you do not need improvement as its hard to improve a 100% winrate with tight 2, 4 paremeters in the bracket. The fact that you are consistent places you in the Elite.I had perfect days with your system and I got to examine those days closer.

P.S. I have no aspirations to trade others money or to have someone trade my money. I just want to get back into trading intraday...prefer scalping 1-3 ticks with tight stops into momentum....its those runners that distracted me..they have big tits.

P.S. S. I am always looking around while focusing. But now is the time to focus. Learning the DOM and chart reading does not interest you EX as you are in the Elite, but I need to always look and expand. I have no reason to believe that your system will stop working and it is not out of fear I do what I do. I think it would be good for me to get something under my belt that I can make my own with your help. I look forward to post one of those FY threads that you recently posted (I tried to calm the storm with distractions and satire as much as I could to thwart off the negative microtrends).
So, 100% is not my win rate. Closer to 85 is more like it. All I do is examine the winners. All the possible data. 99% Of the data I collect is useless and leads nowhere. I convinced any logical approach, evidenced based, will keep you in the game. Who, what, when, where and how did I win. Not so simple doing manuel data entry into a spreadsheet. Old school to say the least.

Ninja is good for beginning, but I think NT 7 has limitation of being single threaded while running multiple real time strategies.
I have not ported to NT 8 so I don't know if it is much better for running real time strats.

I have over 20 charts with a strategy on each running at same time on the same PC with no issues.

For the same price, you’re much better off with Multicharts, which is 100% broker and data vendor independent. Why get hostaged into NT brokerage? Makes no sense. That’s a horrible business model which will lead to their demise, as competing and open source platforms aim to offer flexibility.

The $1,000 is for a lifetime license though. If you choose NT as your platform, and you stick with for the next 5 years, it works out to be a whopping $16 per month. Obviously, if you keep it longer than that, it works out to be even cheaper.
Exactly. I never understood why people nickel and dime around this shit. I purchased lifetime licensing and additionaly spent 5-10k on programming and customization. If anything, I feel like I’ve cheated them, as they constantly support and update the software for no extra cost.

Maybe because ET is not about elite traders but rather people who cannot really afford to trade because of financial reasons.

If you are a real trader hardware or software prices are irrelevant. You make every day more money then they can save buying a second hand or refurbished PC or trying to spent less then $500 on it.

What kind of car or house does Warren Buffett own? Oh I forgot he is not a member of ET.

Are you serious???? What about all issues with partial fills??? Ninja managed approach easily handles them all. After all these years, I still can not believe how cheap and good Ninja is.

P.S. Coming from serious algo trader with substantial capital under management.

I have been here for a while again...but Thanks..I saw your handle and thought that you are not on the other parts of ET...what part of ET do you hang out in?

ES

Electric,

Welcome back!!! It has been a while since we saw you here.

Cheers

This is a coding issue, as I’ve never experienced it with MC. I’ve found it to very robust and stable at automated execution. If NT earned your trust, I wish you the best. Just stating my opinion based on them trying to corner clients into their brokerage.

P.S. Also an experienced, and highly leveraged algo trader
