So despite the economic crash we still got Obamacare. There really is no excuse for Obama's failure to enact his gun control agenda.... beyond that it sucked so bad that he couldn't even get the House Democrats on board.
And Higgins. Don't forget Jonathan Quayle Higgins III. To do so would be at your peril.
%%Here's why:
Acquiring a firearm in Hawaii requires a permit to acquire, issued to qualified applicants by the county police chief.
There is a minimum 14- to 20-day waiting period for receiving a permit. A separate permit is required for each handgun(s) transaction to be acquired (valid for a period of 10 days), while a "long gun" permit can be used for any number of rifles or shotguns for a period of one year.
In addition to passing a criminal background check, applicants must provide an affidavit of mental health, and agree to release their medical records.
First time applicants must be fingerprinted by the FBI (fee applies).
When applying to acquire a handgun, a handgun safety training course affidavit or hunter's education card is also required

Being a Trump supporter is VOLUNTARY and SELF CHOSEN activity, being part of a race is NOT.
The concepts are fundamentally different and hence can't be interchanged in these situations.
Also, this is not the only incidence of Trump supporter going on a mass rampage, I can list a lot more, I have posted about it on this forum and if you read their comments on how they are reacting, they really are a despicable group. They are now sending death threats to survivors based on bullshit conspiracy theories, I posted about that in another thread.
Can't see the OP or some of the others, but just in response to thread title, I would suggest that folks in Hawaii are generally happier for obvious reasons. I recommend thread closure at this juncture.
If you are refering to death threats, lawsuits, and other tactics against climate scientists who say what some Republican supporters don’t like to hear, i’m with you. These Republicans represent entities that spend (hundreds of millions of dollars?) to deny climate change.
One of Trump’s campaign promises was to “drain the swamp”. Although Trump is apprently has positioned himself close to the deniers, Trump is really taking most of the steps necessary to return this country to it’s better days.
Trump supporters are a much more diverse group than you give them credit for. Casting a member of a group as being the same is known as prejustice.
Are you a prejusticed person?
