Why does TA not work (for you)?

no EE so bar 7 was part of channel that makes up third move..

A T2F.Bar 8 is in a range to be an EE. Bar 8 is an larger bar in the yellow box.
So you get ready to carve the end of the long and reverse short on bar 8.

we have 1/8 odf the day's bars done.

Very good brother Corn.
Many seem to think it's (only) triangles and squiggly lines.

I think it makes sense to distinguish between PA trading based on "visuals" (can be anything from "patterns" to candlesticks) and PA trading based on "algorithms" or "statistics". I am a fan of the latter, but not the former. I think on some level they are both in the same category, since price is the only input, but I think the latter has the potential to be much more rigorous than the former. Not to say that a skilled practitioner of the "visual" sort of trading can't outperform a novice algo or statistical trader, but I think the the upper echelons of the industry, the algo/statistical PA trader predominates. These are the guys from schools like MIT/UChicago/Stanford. I've known some of those guys and they never talk about "visual" PA.

Agree, categories within the "TA" realm are quite large and different from each other.
