Why do people believe day trading will get them rich quick?

Spyder showed up at Surf's party, not the Trader's Expo, wearing flip flops. Considering the attitude of most of us self employed traders, if there is a get together where the dress code isn't clarified . . . come comfortable. Absolutely none of those in attendance were "horrified". If everyone was horrified and embarrassed as you say, why did the host invite him back to the party the next year? Surf has a track record of not explaining protocol for those attending. Christ, Surf's party the next year was in a cigar bar and he bailed on his own get together before the party was even half over because his girlfriend couldn't take the smoke . . . cigar bar . . . smoke . . . duh!

You've had a bur up your butt against Jack for a long time creating multiple aliases to make it look like you are less of an angry teenager than you really are. Those of us that have been here for years know you by your many other aliases and rants. You aren't normal. Anyone that finds the need to create multiple aliases and purposely cover that fact up is unbalanced.

Get a life and go back and play with the other large rodents in the sty.

2. Since you obviously don't frequent cigar bars, I will clarify: the smoke eaters were out that night.

I do frequent cigar bars occasionally Anna. I'm an ex-smoker and suffered for days after being at the party but I traveled 1000 miles to sit with fellow traders to compare notes and knew what I was getting into before coming.

I'm upset at Surf because what he did was arrogant and rude and never apologized for leaving. What you did was even worse. If you didn't like the smoke, leave. Surf invited us all there not you. Dragging Surf out of the party was selfish. Neither one of you had the class to let everyone know you were even leaving. Evidently manners weren't high on your priority list of skills you've learned.

Speaking of class and manners, did you ever thank surf for hosting such a gracious event? Or does the overwhelming hurt of him leaving early not allow you to? There were plenty of traders there for you to speak to and the only time I drag surf is behind closed doors so please stop nagging.

BTW both surf and I said goodbye to several people there
