They exhaust everyone's argument. Some interviews(which are really friendly debates) are extinguished after 8 mins..others longer. The host has an keen sense of where his guest proffered the jist of his position, out of ammo, and time to move on.

This host is GREAT!!!! he allows each his "just due"..everyone gets to talk

What is amazing how many of these educated people
still try to place their spin on "this" reality. without ANY evidence, they still believe a higher purpose:eek:and these are exceptionally smart people!

this the the world according to garp, I mean stu.
it has nothing to do with how science now uses the term fine tuning and
it misses many of the important or shall we say fine points.

finally, how many time have I told you, your faith in science figuring it out someday ...is one of the possibilities but even then it might point to a Tuner.

The biggest single currently unsolved question in physics and cosmology, is how the fundamental physical constants get to be the values they are observed to be.

No matter how hard you try and finesse it, without that science to explain them, no one can state in scientific terms that either the Universe, or the fundamental physical constants of the universe, or the cosmological constant itself ..... ARE fine tuned. Or that any single one of them IS fine tuned.

Discovering their values to be the inevitable outcome of their own natural properties alone, would be enough to dismiss all notions of fine tuning. Having no scientific or rational reason to assume it will be otherwise, is enough to reject religious God of the Gaps fine tuning.

That's really all there is to it.

Some of those guys are very interesting thinkers. I really enjoyed listening to most of the physicists.

And I agree the interviewer was outstanding... his timing was truly excellent. you can tell he was enjoying the discourse as much as we were but also knew where the subjects were going.

Science figuring it out is the only possibility otherwise it stays as is. Unexplained. duh. And how many times have it told you. Science is already pointing to a Tuner. It's called Gravity.
