Why do atheist's fear God?

Is it because they are full of sin and don't want to be judged by a higher power? They want to able to do anything they want no matter how evil it is and not be judged? Are they just paranoid? Are they afraid they will end up in hell? Are they mentally ill?

What is their problem?

They don't do they? Surely that's what theists do.
That's what theists are supposed to do. But a quick look at the news confirms that in a practical sense they don't believe in god, either.

The liberal ones don't like the light shined on the naughty things they do.

The better question is why theists fear life without God. Is it because they are full of sin and want absolution? Are they just paranoid? Are they afraid that there is no heaven for them? Are they just mentally ill?

Being mentally ill is believing there is nothing beyond what you can see and touch. Are atheists paranoid there is a God? Because of their sins? Afraid there is a hell? Can't stand the thought that they might end up in hell? These must be the answers! Good job everybody!

I would suggest you check the space bar is working correctly on your keyboard dude. You're describing a theist. Not atheist.

The bigger question is why they are so eager to jump into every single thread on the topic. Who can forget "Free Thinker", the guy who was so obsessed with bashing religion that he started a new thread every single day for several years running...

In his place, we have any number of replacements who have "taken up the cause". Seriously, apathy would seem like a far more natural response to the question of religion for this crowd.
