Why are there few or (zero?) stories about WHY the non-vaxed are refusing the jab?

I have never met a millionaire or wealthy person who ever bragged about how much money they made or had, those people tend to be more intelligent about money. You get the shallow few that wear their fortunes and need to show you what kind of label whore they are but It is always the insecure windbags who have to constantly prove to you what they are worth because outside of any money they are not worth much.

I have had numerous requests from people here both public and private to ask me about my wealth but let's get passed the issue of why the fuck do you need to ask me that, but whatever money I have I still have whether I tell you or not....

So if anyone offers to tell you how much they make when they have no intelligent answer to the actual argument, they be working that Uber baby

I'm the son of a banker and am easily offended by questions about money or property unless its close friends.

The richest guy I know drives an F-150 and lives in a little bungalow on a golf course without a slip or ocean access. I surf with him and he doesn't ask me about my situation and I don't ask him about his. We talk about commercial properties some and thats about it. I once asked why he doesn't shack up on the waterfront in Palm Beach and he just shrugged and said he was happy.

I get some snobbery about my boat which is old and not very big. That tends to stop if they are making the same transits as I am and they realize I'm arrive two days before them when we have departed at the same time. The rich guys covet boat length, I covet speed. If its big enough for a couple of guests to berth and have hot showers and air conditioning I figure that is enough boat.

Don't measure a man by his wallet.

These individuals (members), like Buy1Sell2 whitewash, downplay, say the Covid numbers are not real as in falsified (blame the death on other causes even when family members say the person was healthy, they say we've reached herd immunity back in January)...

This is their narrative although they present no scientific proof. If we look at the timelines of those narratives, you'll see the same messaging on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms to imply that these Covidiots are not really following the science...they are getting their Covid news from social media.

Soon after the above, I saw states like Texas, Mississippi, Florida governors, and others say something similar and remove their face mask requirements against CDC guidelines including publicly announcing Covid was under control...

All while the Delta Variant was making roots in America. The messaging here at Elitetrader.com involves a routine false narrative about Covid and Vaccines...
  • Then when they are called out for their bullshit (their false narratives)...they deny it or try to whitewash / downplay what they've stated.
They are in fact spreading misinformation / disinformation to continue their false narratives and that in turns helps to continue the Covid Pandemic while undermining America's ability to protect itself because it helps create vaccine hesitancy.

Baron has recently banned (gotten rid) of one of these Covidiots because he wouldn't stop with his misinformation / disinformation about Covid after being called out by one of ET's sponsors.

The Covidiot was given a public warning to stop but continue and that resulted in him being banned. The commonality with many of these Covidiots was Natural Herd Immunity beliefs and/or the Sweden Covid threads.
That thread existed the entire Pandemic until recently when it was closed (deleted). Many of the likes on the Covidiots messages in that thread in their targeting of those that challenge their misinformation / disinformation posting were by others that specifically called Covid a hoax.

Every person in Buy1Sell2 ignore list thread (it was an actual thread) that he had created here in the Political section for the purpose to attack those that called out Covidiots and him.
  • Allowing these types of misinformation / disinformation / whitewashing / downplaying narratives to remain here at ET...
It supports their thinking and approves of such because these Covidiots know they are not given the same type outlet at other trading forums because those forums do not tolerate and delete the membership of those posting like the above.

Free speech is one thing but it does have its limits when it helps to spread misinformaiton / disinformation or causes harm to society as the now banned member Turveyd has discovered.

Turv got banned?!
Why?
He must have got pissed, had a fit, and told Baron to ban him. I find it hard to believe it was because of anything he wrote about Covid. Right or wrong.

I mean yeah someone who is wealthy might have some fancy toys and someone who is wealthy might have some non fancy toys because it is just what makes them happy. But like your friend with the F-150, it is always funny how some really wealthy people simple love the things they wanted when they were poorer rather than the things they can easily afford now.

My biggest splurge is always trips and concerts/sporting events because I enjoy memories over material things. One older family member who has money was so proud of his $80,000 watch.....wtf... I use my cell phone to tell time and would much rather spend that on numerous vacations/trips. To each his own I guess...but i will never understand how a watch brings a wealthy person pleasure at THAT level.

My best/biggest splurge is season tickets to my local NBA team a few rows behind the bench. I will take repeated nights a season of endless eating in the club and a game over a watch but it is hard to understand everyone's motivation at times except those who brag.

Fun! Yeah that is cool.

My family used to have a box behind home plate at Dodger Stadium and I lived in the same building as Fernando Valenzuela. Dodger dogs baby!

Doctor Strange movie in which I never knew this thing existed until I saw it in the movie...

Took me a while to locate the above that was used in the movie...

Big Boys with Big Toys...the Trojan Horse Clock that stores watches secretly is crazy.

I did not get to see the watch but the wife did and I want to say it was Movado i think but $80,000???
I thought it was bullshit but she at the time showed me online (I wish I could remember it now as it was 3 years ago).

Trust me.... it looked like some normal watch...I actually lost respect for him (in law uncle) knowing that he was excited to go spend $80,000 on a watch...

I am still like almost upset thinking about it because you could drop $100,000,000 in my lap and I would never ever reward a watchmaker for such an insulting price by paying it..

I have one watch given to me as a gift, probably was a $300 which still feels overpriced and I save it but so used to looking at my phone for the time I dont wear it.. I own more MIckey Mouse watches I keep in their original cases as prized possessions and those things cost under $100 haha
