However the demise of news sources is self-inflicted. They are now more entertainment than news. Most lack any type of integrity and simply serve to drive their agenda.

The Fake News label has stuck to the media -- since it is obviously true and every day reveals another example of biased fictional reporting. Not to mention nearly 50% of "reporting" is merely undisclosed paid placement for products or political groups.

This is true for both left leaning and right leaning news sources. The entire media segment regularly sinks to new lows -- the old days of reporting with integrity are long gone.

1. Excess spending is bi partisan but not conservative
2. Many conservatives were against the war like Pat Buchanan. That was very badly executed neo con garbage. Neo Cons were the children of liberals and pre commies.
3. Many real conservatives have no problem protecting the environment in effective ways. Conserving means conserving the country and environment for the future. Conservatives would like to see the science showing man made CO2 is causing warming before they go about letting Govt control more sectors of their life. There has been zero science showing man made co2 causing warming. Models are not proof.

4. Low minimum wages are in large part caused by massive immigration and massive govt regulation and taxation. I am not sure conservatives care about private unions. Most smart people are against public unions.
5. Deregulation of financial markets is definitely bi partisan. Ask Clinton's cabinet as they were the big sponsors. Rubin and Weil were pushing for the end of glass steagall and got it.
Barney frank and manying others were pushing to weaken loan standards and wall street banks were very greedy. Lots of democrats involved top to bottom along with some republicans.
6. Democrats have been accused and found guilty of campaign corruption.


In short you brought up nothing specifically against conservative policies your issues is with the establishment. (as it should be.)

The tax cuts policies have led to a disaster on the national debt. Reckless military adventurism has stretched our resources and military. Rolling back environmental law despite thenplanet rapidly warming. Anti NATO undermines western security. Wages stagnation caused by union busting and low minimum wages. Deregulation of financial markets. Undermining federal law enforcement. Broad and general corruption with two sitting congressmen under Indictment and a presidential campaign under investigation with people already in jail and indicted. How’s that for starters?

I love how Clinton gets blamed for deregulation and no credit for the balanced budget. Its almost like you guys are cherry picking.

Conservatives are dead and that’s a good thing, they did it to themselves with shitty public policy.

Now we have to face down a nationalist, populist movement in the Republican Party. So be it but the alliance that is formed is based on a shaky electoral college and gerrymandered map. You don’t really have the publico axillio.
