As he ranted about federal courts ruling against some of his policies, including the 2017 travel ban, the author writes, Trump once asked White House lawyers to draft a bill to send to Congress reducing the number of federal judges.

Trump ‘violates all recognized democratic norms,’ federal judge says in biting speech on judicial independence
“We are in unchartered territory,” said Friedman, 75, an appointee of President Bill Clinton. “We are witnessing a chief executive who criticizes virtually every judicial decision that doesn’t go his way and denigrates judges who rule against him, sometimes in very personal terms. He seems to view the courts and the justice system as obstacles to be attacked and undermined, not as a coequal branch to be respected even when he disagrees with its decisions.”

Note to Judge Clown:

Trump has great respect for the judiciary and has thus put much effort into appointing quality justices to the Supreme Court and a bevy of lower court judges that Obama never filled because he was high most of the time much like you.

Have a nice day, Your Honor.

Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!

More than likely, a Never Trumper who is a RINO liberal or an extreme liberal holdout from Obama's administration. Those are the ones more likely, saying these things. Or the New York Times being the extreme liberal media hit piece that it is, just made it all up!

This NYT anonymous op ed clown sounds like H.R. McMaster to me.

But I dont recall the exact timing of his coming and going at the White House so don't know whether that would line up with what is being alleged in the anonymous stuff.

It matches his disposition toward things though, even if it is someone else. Then again, maybe it is his sorry arse. So many are butt-hurt from Trump that it is hard to tell. All these guys like Mattis and Kelley who beat their chest and say that they are military people who know better than to criticize a president while in office are out there cutting Trumps balls off every day, some of them getting rich doing it too- writing the book of the week criticizing a president in office.

You meant to say, Obama could not fill vacancies because GOP was high on hatred towards him, and kept rejecting all his appointees.

Will not be an issue soon. Once Texas flips blue, it will be a long time before we see GOP president and GOP control of the chambers. Era of tyranny of minority coming to an end soon.

Right. You're on board with DWTS results, too?
