Who plans to get the covid 19 VACCINE when it comes out

again, its hard to trust what is said. The data is too skewed to blindly accept anything. I like statistics...statistically I am not at risk to die from Covid, therefor i will not subject myself to a vaccine i do not need. And no, i do not in anyway see that as being selfish. I wash my hands and always have social distanced myself because i dont like being close to people.

more people have died from vaccine related issues in the past year than in the last 30 years combined...and yet they still are not protected from being infected or transmitting Covid. I have to give that a hard pass buddy but thanks.
They've usee bad PC logic to brainwash people into getting jabbed is the right thing, but it doesn't stop you getting it, spreading it, or dying from it clearly.
If the media went on about car crash fatalities 24/7 like they do a Covid death, nobody would ever drive again.

You should see some of the stuff being recommended on far left platforms like reddit...seriously people HATE the unvaxxed to the point of negating their humanity. Negate the enemy makes it much easier to destroy them. Same as how the Tutsis were labelled as "cockroaches" in Rwanda as to make it easier to slaughter them.

I like statistics too from North America. Yet, I do not cater to Covid misinformation especially during a health crisis.

By the way, I never suggested nor implied people like you should be vaccinated.
Yet, if you have a family, children or you want to enjoy life with those that are vaccinated...much of the world has made a decision that people will not be responsible when they are around those that can not be vaccinated, around those that are vaccinated but vaccines have NEVER had a 100% efficacy, 1/3 of a healthy population do not realize they have an underlying medical conditions and many other things...
You do what it takes to protect yourself but others that do not want to want to put their children, co-workers, clients, friends at risk have made a decision to be vaccinated or wear a face mask.
My point, there are solutions for those that do not want to be vaccinated. The problem, they are the same people that do not want to do the other solutions to protect the population...they do not want to wear a face mask to be able to use the same resources as those that are vaccinated, they do not want to take a Covid test to be able to use the same resources as those that are vaccinated and other issues.
I'm ex-military...vaccines are nothing to us. A person that had an issue with vaccines was not allowed to serve. I also grew up in a military family in which we lived abroad in other countries...once again...vaccines were the norm.
People are stuck on vaccine mandates but they do have a choice. Get medical clearance from their Doctor and then wear the face mask. Those that refuse the options will not be allowed to use the same resources as those that are vaccinated.
It's going to be a new fact of life just like when they banned smoking in public places used by those that do not smoke. Back then, thousands protested too and there was an enormous misinformation campaign too...people with charts showing smoking was NOT dangerous.
Same idiocy when seat belt laws were passed. That's how pathetic the human race is.

Does it mean there were few severe reactions and they were all unrelated? It's amazing to me how sloppy writing has been during this whole pandemic, when clarity is imperative.

Also, I left the military (reminder - I did say ex-military) as an officer that no longer tolerated the overstepping of the government that I was serving.
Simply, do not bark up a tree you know nothing about. Let us just agree it's not the topic of this thread.
I'll be clearer, the government overstepping with mandates is just as bad as those that overstep with their anger towards those that made a choice to be vaccinated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of their loved ones and family that surrounds them.

speaking of...the covid vaccine is causing some issues right now within the military as people are refusing to take it.
And Its not vaccines people have an issue with...its the covid vaccines specifically. people are trying to group anti covid vaxxers in with flat earthers and anti (every) vaccine as a way to ruin their credibility and make them out to be complete asses.
Oddly my double jabbed we must all get jabbed ex wife didn't want to give the kids there childhood vaccines had to pretty much force her, experimental dangerous jab not an issue, she'd already had covid aswell nuts!
I've been reading the headlines the past week about the government ordering Federal employees and the military to be vaccinated.
I still have friends that are serving in the United States or abroad (e.g. Afghanistan, South Korea, Germany) that are very concerned about this new order that has come down from the Pentagon.
They also understand why because they don't have access to other options like the civilian population except for those behind a desk / not in the field.
I'm just guessing, I expect the military to lose about 10% of their soldiers not extending their time in the service. A good friend of mine, a Seargent Major that served under me when he was a PFc) is now thinking about retiring (he's eligible now) instead of being vaccinated.
In fact, I'm sure the military has already looked at the statistical models to know how many soldiers they will lose due to them not wanting to be vaccinated...these soldiers will be given an honorable general discharge, and with the full military benefits that they signed for upon entry.
- Key valuable soldiers will be enticed to stay with promotions and financial rewards when they re-enlist as vaccinated soldiers.
I know with some soldiers...they want more options and the military is currently only giving them one option and that's Pfizer because its the first to receive full FDA approval.
Now that the Food and Drug Administration has fully approved the Pfizer vaccine, the Pentagon is moving for full vaccination of service members. The Army has fully vaccinated about 40 percent of its roughly 1 million soldiers — 57 percent when partial vaccinations are considered.
That leaves a sizable chunk of the service’s personnel unvaccinated, some of whom have expressed a reluctance to get the vaccine even after it becomes mandatory. But the Army already has regulations on the books that deal with involuntary immunization, as well as religious and medical exemptions.
Those that have voluntarily been vaccinated...I'm guessing most of them have military families to take care of. Thus, a different type of pressure for them to get vaccinated.
Also, at the above link, it mentions "court-martial" but only when “conditions of imminent threat exist (where the threat of naturally occurring disease or use of biological weapons is reasonably possible).”
This is something that we were aware of when we signed up. It's no different than a soldier signing up to serve their country, reaps the benefits of being a soldier, and then wants out when it's time to be sent over for war. I knew a few guys that did just that after I got out of the military and was in graduate school...
War happen and I almost left graduate school to join again.
It sucks but they were then court-martialed and then given a dishonorable discharge... it's not something you want on your military records because it will ruin your life.
Current soldiers that do not want to be vaccinated...a lot of them will get exemptions and those that don't...the United States Armed Forces we'll lose about 10% of our military force but that's just a good guess and something the Pentagon can live with.
