Wow, how many times do i have to repeat it. I am well aware of VN's flaws. The guy is far from perfect.
However, he teaches a way to think about the financial markets and solve your own investing issues rather than a "do as i do" approach.
This is the brilliance of VN-- his ability to teach his massive knowledge and wisdom. The evidence of the success of his market students support this ascertation 10 fold.
When someone says they get no value from his work only reflects the incredible stupidity of the person saying it

ok, fair enough...He does seem to be an interesting guy, and I have known a few traders who had direct experience with him...so I've heard the stories (good and bad)...these threads just feel worn out though after all of these years...it's hard to believe there isn't someone else to provide us with the same "he's a character, brilliant, flawed", but an interesting sort to discuss...
