That's just a joke, because the helicopter happened to have cci stenciled on it

ok, is the line "500 succesful traders in woodie room" said by the intro speaker in his YM lecture a joke to ? if one has the time--listen to the lecture--it is indeed disturbing what is said.

then he goes on to say--everyone in my chatroom is having a steak dinner tonight----WHAT ? is this supposed to be funny ?

Funny? No, not at all. I recall that day very well. It was a great trading day - no humor intended.

If I recall correctly, you have stated you are not a profitable trader: perhaps, if you, nirto and and a few others were to listen with the goal of learning instead of wasting all your time on this website acting like children you might just be eating steak dinners yourself.

keving :)

took a look see at woodie sight. there are lies and mistruths everywhere. the funniest is a picture of an army helicpoter that woodie claims to fly in.

a lie is a lie is a lie.

Mr. Rabid, you seem to have gotten yourself side tracked again, most likely due to your emtions over powering your rational thought processes.

r7 is a CCI trader, not too hard to figure out if you look at the website that the pictures are posted on. Now, guess who fly's copters?

But Andriy, It's all for a good cause.....hey Make a wish will be getting all that money right?

From Woodie's room on HotComm today:

"14:01:00 {Re-Ink} Woodie will do a seminar in Phoenix and all interested parties please email me at GAZGAZ2@earthlink.net. The dates are May 16th and 17th. The cost is $250.00. I got an excellent rate of $59.00 per night for studios for you people that are coming from out of town. You can make reservations at 602-864-1900 ext. 6010 and let them know you are with Woodie. Please email to confirm a spot in the seminar. We just got a bigger room for 30 people and about 24 have signed up."

So… Let’s do the math. 30 attendees X $250.00 = $7500.00 Cash preferred, of course. What about costs? Let’s say, around $500.00 per day (includes A/V equipment, Wi/Fi access, etc. Meals? Let’s say $10.00 per person. So what we got?

$7500.00 - $1000.00 - $600.00 = $5900.00 profit. Not bad for two days of work.

How many of these are done a year? Since I’ve been in the room, I’ve heard of three, and that’s within the space of a two months. Some of these have considerably more than 30 people, but cost per person remains the same. So let’s say 10 of these get done per year. That’s $60,000.00 per year just on seminar activity alone. And all cash. Hmmm…

Not a bad racket. Anyone actually ever see records of or receipts for resultant donations to the “Make a Wish” thing???

Other potential revenue. hotComm runs $50.00 per 3 months. 500 subscribers to Woodie’s room = $25,000.00 every three months or $100.000.00 yearly. Conjecture – what is Woodie’s cut??? Again, not bad.

E-Signal. Already discussed in previous post. At the very least. Woodie and his band of moderators are provided E-Signal subscriptions gratis. There’s a nice healthy saving. However, at roughlt 265 new users as a direct result of Woodie’s promo, that’s an awful lot of revenue for EW-Signal. Conjecture – wonder what’s Woodie’s cut? Not bad, eh?

So… There’s three revenue generating items that can add up to a not bad yearly stipend.

Of course, that doesn’t even begin to take into consideration the “We don’t make calls in this room, but this sure looks like one heck of a good setup coming up on the YM, but wait, don’t enter that trade just yet, wait till the bar closes.” In the meantime I’ll enter now and wait till everyone else piles on when the bar closes before exiting.

NAH!!! That doesn’t happen, does it???

By the way, who made the comment about having visions of some woman driving with the windows blacked out??? ROFLMAO. That was truly funny with regard to the “we don’t need no steenkin’ prices thing.”

And what is it with this “Ghost” thing. If it looks like a “head and shoulders” and walks like a “head and shoulders” and talks like a “head and shoulders”, then, by golly it must be a “head and shoulders”. WTF is it with the “Ghost” thing? Oh, I know. Call it something else then you can take credit for something that already exists. That makes one an innovator and a genius. LOL!!!

Oh hell! I gotta go. I just realized my prices are showing. The HORROR!!!

Andriy,

Thanks for the very informative post. My guess is that a large portion of "500" users on this site are "fake", with the intent to mislead. You can tell by just noticing that many of these "handles" never appear to say much.

I am glad at least that many of the honest people like you are posting your experiences with this guy, and hopefully more like you are going to get the courage to come out and speak and help each other out. You will be amazed at some of their experiences as well.

Eventually, it would be really helpfull if all of them came on this thread and told their story as honestly and truthfully as possible.

There is strength in numbers. Keep in touch with each other. You never know what actions may be taken in the future.

Document everything.

It's sooooo simple, but people want to circumvent disclosing their trading statements like the Black Plague. Gee, I wonder why? What do you think?

_JUST_POST_YOUR_TRADING_STATEMENTS_IF_YOU_ARE_A_CHAT_ROOM_OPERATOR_AT_THE_END_OF_THE_DAY_!!!

nitro

Nitro, why don't you post your statements here? Give a good example first. Let's hope Mr. Woodie will follow. You have been engaged in a very negative campaign against him and I really don't understand your point. No-one is forcing you or anyone else to use his trading methods. They are free. If you don't like them, don't use them, period. There are many ways to make money in the markets, but there is one very important prerequisite to all of them: the positive attitude. I don't see it on this board and that's why I even do not bother posting here as often as I could given more conducive circumstances. You on the other hand, judging by the number of your posts, seem to be thriving in this outrageously negative environment. That speaks volume about you and all those frequent posters on this board. You people have a much bigger problem than Mr. Woodie.

Now, I do agree that it would be great if Woodie posted his trading statements at the end of each trading day, but the thing is that no-one (not even those running paid-for rooms) is doing this. If I am wrong, please correct me by pointing me to a room operator that actually does it. I will be happy to check their room out. That's why I believe that you are simply heavily biased against Woodie by expecting him to do what no-one else is doing. This is not a standard yet in this business even if I wish it were!

Or it could also be your paranoia. Either way, I could not care less... I believe everyone can learn something from Woodie, but whether you will win with CCI depends on more than just a technique, it depends mostly on your mindset. I wonder how many more posts here will take you to figure out that there is nothing wrong with Woodie, but rather with those who think that trading is as easy as spewing BS on the ET boards.

Enough from me for another week or so.

Well, I again must disagree. It is a well known standard in "the business" for ANYONE holding themselves out to the public to maintain records to substantiate their claims. Time and Time again this has been enforced through the CFTC and NFA with members and non-members. CTA's and non CTA's no matter what your disclaimer reads, and no matter what you admit to! As a matter of fact there is a special team assigned to Internet abuses........
