I got an excellent rate of $59.00 per night for studios for you people that are coming from out of town. You can make reservations at 602-864-1900 ext. 6010 and let them know you are with Woodie. Please email to confirm a spot in the seminar. We just got a bigger room for 30 people and about 24 have signed up."
So⦠Letâs do the math. 30 attendees X $250.00 = $7500.00 Cash preferred, of course. What about costs? Letâs say, around $500.00 per day (includes A/V equipment, Wi/Fi access, etc. Meals? Letâs say $10.00 per person. So what we got?
$7500.00 - $1000.00 - $600.00 = $5900.00 profit. Not bad for two days of work.
How many of these are done a year? Since Iâve been in the room, Iâve heard of three, and thatâs within the space of a two months. Some of these have considerably more than 30 people, but cost per person remains the same. So letâs say 10 of these get done per year. Thatâs $60,000.00 per year just on seminar activity alone. And all cash. Hmmmâ¦
Not a bad racket. Anyone actually ever see records of or receipts for resultant donations to the âMake a Wishâ thing???
Other potential revenue. hotComm runs $50.00 per 3 months. 500 subscribers to Woodieâs room = $25,000.00 every three months or $100.000.00 yearly. Conjecture â what is Woodieâs cut??? Again, not bad.
E-Signal. Already discussed in previous post. At the very least. Woodie and his band of moderators are provided E-Signal subscriptions gratis. Thereâs a nice healthy saving. However, at roughlt 265 new users as a direct result of Woodieâs promo, thatâs an awful lot of revenue for EW-Signal. Conjecture â wonder whatâs Woodieâs cut? Not bad, eh?
So⦠Thereâs three revenue generating items that can add up to a not bad yearly stipend.
Of course, that doesnât even begin to take into consideration the âWe donât make calls in this room, but this sure looks like one heck of a good setup coming up on the YM, but wait, donât enter that trade just yet, wait till the bar closes.â In the meantime Iâll enter now and wait till everyone else piles on when the bar closes before exiting.
