Electing a president based on who we think would be more fun to be with is really insane.

Voting for a candidate because they share your personal tastes in sports, etc. is ridiculous.

Who would chose a surgeon, lawyer, who finished at the bottom of their class simply because they liked hunting over a professional because they like reading Shakespeare?

Voting for who people imagined drinking a beer with at a ball game got us Bush for 8 years...

Why don't people want to vote for a president who is actually smarter than they are, rather than some dim bulb who can dumb down or exist on the voters own level...

I'd like to enjoy my time while it lasts ... I refuse to make the "sacrifices" Democrats have in mind to fullfill their vision.

And their vision is far more demanding than what Bush has made on the 125k troops toppling an enemy regime... Democrats' vision involves sacrifice WITH NO PAYOFF. RISK WITH NO REWARD. NO RISK WITH ALL REWARD.
