I think the gambit was more than just trying to grab Hillary voters...which won't work by the way. Female voters who wanted Hillary won't go for the right wing positions Palin embraces, especially when it comes to women's rights.
One way to look at it would be that women voters who wanted Hillary are in dittohead speak "feminazis" and 4 sure they aren't going to support a woman who is so staunchly right wing when it comes to women's rights over their own bodies.
The pick was more likely for some of the following reasons:
1. They can can claim that they have someone with executive branch experience on the ticket.
2. It shows that McCain is still a maverick.
3. She is not a D.C. insider.
4. Her lack of experience, if challenged, opens the door for McBush to point to the lack of experience of Obama.
5. It makes McCain look younger, you know, some old fuck with a younger woman by his side...after all, he did marry a woman young enough to be his daughter.
6. It makes McCain the solid one to focus on. Romney or Rudy might overshadow McCain.
Its not a matter of experience. There is noone in the world on his first Presidential election that has any. So its not relevant.
The real issue is the pontential and skills required to be a good leader.
Its idiotic for John and the Reps to pick this woman, a smokescreen to get Hillary voters on Reps side. Palin even said so the on day she was puking about 18million cracks in Dems.
Do you really think this woman as the ability to be Pres of USA? Do any of the Reps believe she has any or they also sadly see the only reason she is there is to get Hillary voters on Johny side?
So whats Johny gonna say now about Obama's youth and inexperience.
Its an amazing collosal blunder considering John will not last long due to ill - health. Then what? [/B][/QUOTE]

In other words, Obama has no real experience to speak of. Thanks for clearing that up.
