Anyone who does not get basic vaccinations is a complete idiot. Anyone who does not vaccinate their children is a threat to society.

yes, and that can easily be controlled through the school system, but that would be government control, and we can't have that. Only way around it? Get the government out of the education system. Then it would be only private schools requiring immunization and it would be none off the governments business.

Incidentally, when you hear someone from the gov't tell you that this or that vaccine is harmless, maybe you could ask them just what it is that makes them so sure. The most likely answer is that they believe the gov' t wouldn't recommend them and the medical community wouldn't give them if they weren't safe. That's all they'll be able to give you. At least without lying. Because the gov't (Institute of Medicine) actually has done a study of side effects from measles and other vaccines. And what they found was that they were unable to conclude whether a number of major health problems that occurred in conjunction with the vaccines were or were not caused by the vaccines. They don't know. That's the key point. They do not know. They cannot give an honest answer about whether the vaccines are safe or not.

There have been plenty of studies done about the risks of vaccines. The results of proper studies over long periods of time demonstrate the benefits of vaccines greatly outweigh the minor risks.

Are you next going to claim that vaccines cause autism. The nonsense from Wakefield has been debunked, and U.K. prosecutors are thinking of bringing charges against him for his fraudulent research which caused public health problems.

my kids are vaccinated because my wife works in the field so there is no choice.
but... my analysis is that vaccines are far from risk free... don't let you kids get vaccinated when they are sick and I would limit the amount of vaccines they have administer at one time. (as suggested by someone else on this site.)
