Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

wouldn't be touching KM after the first bounce. Not the best chart anymore. Too high risk.

Short side which appears to be the side I want to play today

LUV
AG
DF
K
GCI

Long side

CVC
PLL

My dad also bought some KM when it went down to 72 cents.
He thinks the company will survive and actually end up going
over $10 again! I think he should of sold when it just ran up
to the $1.50 area. But what do I know?

72c ! Wow. My dad at $1.00. He has a sizeable position. If it goes to $10, he will be buying a condo in Florida :)

Up again today. Yesterday was a very interesting day. There was a 1,000,000 share bid on it for a while, and 400,000 on it all day, and an offer a penny on the other side _FOREVER_

This was a reverse of the day when there was huge offers and a penny below "small" bids.

Be careful on KM wouldn't look to gain a lot on a company going bankrupt.

Speaking of which

MHU take a look at today's chart.. Holy Sh*t....

This is something I'm going to watch for a positive market and a time it goes positive above yesterday's close.

My short list

AG
MGA
PVA
TR (he's thin but could be fun)

noticed market is acting like we need to go lower again

Long list

CBR
MGM
ROP
TTN
UMC

and stalking MHU

...Be careful on KM wouldn't look to gain a lot on a company going bankrupt.

I hate giving stock advice on an investment - I have to admit, I really don't know how to invest - trading seems so much easier.

So I kept a low profile when my dad asked me what I thought of KM. I told him the facts as coldly as I could, and I emphasized the fact that the odds were that the stock would see zero before it saw 10. Still, I cannot, and will not give stock advice, as what would I say when the stock went to 10 and I told him to stay out? And if it went to zero, what would I say, "I told you so?" [to say nothing of the fact that I don't know what the hell I am talking about anyway]

No thanks - can't win.

Inspite of that, he is really optimistic that the orderly closing of 250 or so stores, the deal with Martha Stewart, and the fact that he _KNOWS_ that KM is a viable business, are going to bring the stock back from restructuring.

If this pans out, and KM can find a nitch to compete against WMT and TGT [to say nothing of COST, S, KSS - Oey, its giving me a headache] we will be kicking ourselves for not having a 100 lot on it? :) :)

I am rooting for him.

Kinda reminds me of Foodmaker a quite a few years ago. (Jack in The Box) for others who live in CA. They had a public health scare and it appeared they wouldn't make next months rent.
Their ICON Jack is ALL over California now and I see his commercials on CNBC daily.

Robert,

I was curious on why you had AG on your Short List for the day? I am guessing that the expectation is the MM will mark up the stock for the upgrade.

The reason that it caught my eye was that I had sold my AG yesterday before lunch. You can imagine how happy I was to see it upgraded today with a $2 intraday spike.:(

Regards,

I traded neither side today for the list. When one market is negative and another postive no great direction.

AG especially. I won't get short unless it can go below yesterday's closing price. AG in fact was coming up on some of my other scans on first alert so I played the long side of him today a few times.
He never went below yesterday's close so no signal to trade him.

AG and the other shorts were on my list due to having multiple days up in a row with increased volatility.

To me it looks like Robert made the AG call for Thursday, not
Friday. And AG did go down a little after the open...

If you read the post again, it was dated on the 21st, at 8:50am
in the morning...

But I suspect that AG could of still been on the list for Friday
anyway due to it's run up and it is definitely on the list for
Monday?

And it looks like KM took a backstep today...

:p
