...Be careful on KM wouldn't look to gain a lot on a company going bankrupt.
I hate giving stock advice on an investment - I have to admit, I really don't know how to invest - trading seems so much easier.
So I kept a low profile when my dad asked me what I thought of KM. I told him the facts as coldly as I could, and I emphasized the fact that the odds were that the stock would see zero before it saw 10. Still, I cannot, and will not give stock advice, as what would I say when the stock went to 10 and I told him to stay out? And if it went to zero, what would I say, "I told you so?" [to say nothing of the fact that I don't know what the hell I am talking about anyway]
No thanks - can't win.
Inspite of that, he is really optimistic that the orderly closing of 250 or so stores, the deal with Martha Stewart, and the fact that he _KNOWS_ that KM is a viable business, are going to bring the stock back from restructuring.
If this pans out, and KM can find a nitch to compete against WMT and TGT [to say nothing of COST, S, KSS - Oey, its giving me a headache] we will be kicking ourselves for not having a 100 lot on it?
I am rooting for him.
