The goal is to create chaos and blame it all on Trump. Don't be surprised if this is not having the desired effect in the polls for the White House a couple of Russian fighter jets will be shot down in Syria by the US military.
 
Keep in mind that Trump is the "law & order" candidate.

Rioting and disorder will help his poll numbers in North Carolina.

I doubt very much that the Democrats want riots in our cities because this gives Trump an advantage in the election.
 
I thought so too, but a lot of people are so indoctrinated they will think they have to vote democrat to avoid being racist. And they will be afraid that Trump would trigger more of this.

Those people who "are so indoctrinated they will think they have to vote democrat to avoid being racist" are already voting Democratic. They are not swing voters who are figuring out who to vote for.

The voters in the middle can easily be swayed by what is occurring during the weeks before the election. Riots and disorder, immigration issues, and foreign military fiascos are all items which will sway the vote towards Trump.

Hillary would rather focus on economic, healthcare, and education issues - but riots in the streets will detract from conversation on any of these items.
