People making less than $75,000, elderly, women because of the abortion issue, people who want insurance that will be paid by the rich, fans of Oprah + George Clooney and other celebrities!, people that are tired of the war in Iraq, etc...The only ones that would probably not vote for him are the ones who make over $250,000 yearly and own stocks, but that's probably less than 1% of the population.

also...with Obama's 25% to 28% capital gains tax rate, would investing still be appealing to investors/traders?

OK let's compare Iraq to Vietnam. Instead of building a permanent mililtary base in Vietnam as was done in S. Korea, Japan and Germany, the Democrat congress completely abandoned S. Vietnam, leaving them wide open for the North to invade. The result was millions of deaths that come with new totalitarian regimes. Guess what will happen if the Democrats abandone Iraq like they did S. Vietnam? Yup, millions of deaths as al Qaeda and Iran over run the place.

do you guys know anything about this: i was reading an article a few days ago that said one of the reasons Bush invaded Iraq was because Saddam Hussein has just started using Euros to trade oil instead of US dollars?


yep, if Obama brings the troops out too soon without proper planning or some sort of strategy that would protect Iraq from Iran, lot of people would probably get killed when Iran comes for the oil.

There's nothing inherently evil about using Euro's in exchange for Oil. It would have no effect whatsoever and the value of the USD.

Further ...in the comparison of Iraq with Vietnam...once we left in 1975 there was virtually no more war or killing.
