Guy walks right up to a 5 year old boy who is riding his bike and shoots the kid in the head, right in front of his two sisters.
 
This news story is local to where I live and has regularly been on our newscasts over recent days. This is not a black / white story -- it is a story of mental illness based on some of the news. The two families involved have been friendly for a long time. In fact father of the child had the shooter over recently for dinner.

"Sessoms lives next door to Cannon's father, and a neighbor said that the two men had dinner together Saturday night and that Sessoms was at his neighbor's home earlier Sunday."

No one understands why Darius Sessoms shot 5 year old Cannon Hinnant.

I will note that the boy's parents are divorced with joint custody; the parents still get along quite well. Cannon was staying with his father at the time of the shooting.

Clearly, it was self defense. After all, it was point blank range. The kid was probably a drug dealer who wanted to eliminate a witness after a drug deal gone bad. Luckily for the shooter, he was able to disarm the evil white kid, narrowly missing getting shot himself.

Unfortunately, the racist police department showed their biases and jumped to the conclusion the Black man was guilty of a crime. Until we get over our racially confused mindsets, upstanding Black citizens, like the man pictured above, will be continue to be persecuted.

Where is Kamala when you need her?

Of course it isn't about race. Still, a monster like this needs to be put down. End of story.
