Which Trading Is More Enjoyable For You?

I started with stock swing trading but there is something about holding overnight that doesn't really sit right and it isn't all that enjoyable to me (stock scanning, sitting and waiting etc.). I want to be active in the market so I think I might start learning how to day trade index futures.

Anyone go through a similar shift in trading? (Btw, for those of you who trade index futures profitably what were some of the resources you used that helped you get to profitability?)
I went the other way. Was daytrading futures to swing trading stocks.
I'm in it to make money, not for excitement.
Boring is good, don't have to spend the day in front of a monitor, very little stress, and I can get out and enjoy life. Day trading is like having a job except there is no guarantee of a payday.

Scalping turned day trade. Used to do 50+trades per day now only less than 10. More losing days but more money made actually. Still sit in front of screen all day because I can't miss that 1:10RR "let your winner ride" trade that actually make me money.

I am an absolute beginner in this field. But I already have my own favorite. I really enjoyed working with different types of cryptocurrency. I'm trying to build a small investment package entirely focused on bitcoin, including various altcoins depending on their market positions. Now everyone can try themselves in this business when it is so easy to buy bitcoins with a credit card. I think for a beginner, this will be the easiest way to understand the essence of trading.
