Jesus did not sacrifice because he did not serve the gOd of sacrifice. If that is the gOd of Abraham, then so be it. Jesus has nothing to do with what you think about Abraham, or Abraham's gOd. The truth is older than Abraham, and does not change because of what Abraham thinks about gOd, what you think about gOd, or what you think about Jesus.
Jesus served the true God, which asks for mercy, not sacrifice. Jesus did not serve two masters. There was never a time when the true God asked for sacrifice. It is you who sacrifice, and it is of you that mercy is asked. God has never sacrificed. You have sacrificed. Sacrifice is all about ego...all about the ego's world...and infiltrates all your thoughts. Your interpretations are ruthlessly unmerciful toward the truth that sets you free.
So you think the true God needs to be paid off like some gOdfather. You think blood money satisfies the true God. You think you can buy Heaven. Perhaps you even think you can sell it too! You think that God has condemned, when, truth is, God has never condemned. You are where you are because of your own self-condemnation. That is the true meaning of voluntary crucifixion. You are self-crucified upon the cross of your own ignorance...achieved by denying the truth since before the foundation of the world.

Man's nature is to believe lies about what is his nature.
Man is an experience yeilded of the belief in lies.
As lies are believed, man appears, and assumes his existence is the truth.

This goes well beyond gnosticism, with which I share this one bit of knowledge:
The true God does not make this world!
Rather,
The power to make a world-of-imagination seem "real" is taken from the true God, and applied in opposition to his will.
Because it is impossible to oppose the will of GoD,
what seems solid and real is only imaginary.
It does not exist.
Because it does not exist, there is no sin.
That is the truth.
And that is how the truth takes away the sins of the world.
The truth takes away the whole world!
If the world was true, then sin would be the truth".
But sin is not the truth because the world does not exist.
There is no sin because there is no world.
The dreamers who cherish their dream resist this with all their might. They fight it with every demented brain cell devoted to propaganda against the truth, in favor of what is basically anti-christ: the world. These must find a way to "pay" for sin. But this payment plan is not the true plan of salvation. The payment plan is just a way to keep sin alive. Sin demands payment for everything it offers. And if you want what it offers, you must pay. A lie circulates as valid currency only when the truth is sacrificed first. But this is not GoDs way.
The world must be let go as worthless. This is not a sacrifice. If the world has value to you, then it would seem like a sacrifice. But it is not possible to ever let the world go if it has value to you. It has no value to the true GoD. And if you value the world, the laws of God will yeild to your alien will. And you may have the world forever if you like. From what you want, God cannot save you. He will never take anything from you that you think is yours...even if it is just a belief. So the world is like a self-trap. You are trapped by your own ideas that sacrifice the truth of who you are. The world teaches you that you are not "lord". You must be "Lord" to be free of it.
The world was not made by the true God.
Beyond this, the gnostics were grasping to know what Jesus knew.
I am sharing with you what Jesus knew that the gnostics did not know.
Jesus knew that the true genesis of the world was lie.
The lie is this: The Truth has been attacked and killed.
This is what it means, "...slain before the foundations of the world".
"Lamb of God" is a metaphor for truth.
Truth does not attack.
Truth does not defend itself from attack.
Innocence is the Truth.
Innocence is the Truth's only defense.
These are attributes of a lamb.
This is the only reason the Truth is called "Lamb of God".
It is not a reference to the true Gods intent.
It is not Gods will that anything happen to the Truth...ever.
The true God has never intended to sacrifice the Truth, and never will.
Jesus taught the true story of the genesis and exodus of the world through the cross and resurrection and ascension sequence.
The cross is everyones past.
The tomb is everyones present.
The resurrection is everyones destiny.
You do not understand this because you are yet unwilling to accept the Son of God without prejudice. You presume the Son of God to be this or that, but you are dead wrong.
In demonstrating the genesis of the world, Jesus volunteered to be slaughtered.
Before he gave himself up to be killed, he said, "I am the truth".
He also said, "I am the alpha and the omega".
He also said, "before Abraham was, I am..."
It is only as you understand what Jesus was teaching that you may be saved.
So he is telling us the story of truth: mocked, slain, and sacrificed.
He is telling us the story of the genesis of the world!!
The world is the sacrifice of truth. There is no truth in the world!
The world is a self-sacrifice! The end of the world is self-mercy.
The true God never wanted self-sacrifice. That is what Jesus knew.
Jesus knew the true God wanted mercy.
Mercy is the end of sacrifice, so mercy is the end of the world.
The resurrection of Jesus is the story of the end of the world by the end of sacrifice.
Resurrection is the effect of mercy, not sacrifice.
To be a man is a sacrifice of truth.
Sacrifice must end.
So, man must end.
That is what Jesus meant, "Lay down your life that you may take it up again".
The genesis of the world and the sequence of events that came upon Jesus are similar.
Likewise, Jesus behaved as the truth behaved in the genesis of the world.
The truth did not fight the genesis of the world.
The truth is like a lamb in this regard.
If a lamb were attacked, it would be easily led to slaughter, and would not defend itself.
This is how Jesus - as the truth - behaved.
Instead, the truth gave up its life, so-to-speak, that a lie may live instead, and take its place.
The lie is the world of man and the many.
The lie entombs the truth...keeping it buried.
If the world were true, it would be an attack on the truth.
If it were true, the truth would be dead.
This is the true meaning of the parable of the voluntary execution demonstrated by Jesus.
But Jesus knew one more thing the gnostics did not know.
He knew that the truth could not be killed.
Knowing this, he rose from the dead.
Jesus knew that death is like sleeping and dreaming.
Whenever people tried to tell Jesus that someone was dead, he said they were just sleeping.
So the message is loud and clear:
The world is Life itself, asleep, dreaming of death.
The world is Truth itself, dead, that a lie [dream] may live.
The Truth is One, and the lies are many.
It is only as the One is *broken* that the many "live".
This is not an endorsment of the many.
This is to demonstrate that the man lives because the truth dies.
In other words, man is a lie.
As such, the "son of man" is the sacrifice of the truth.
The "son of man" is born to die.
This is all a big fat lie.
But it is a lie backed by the power of GoD.
So, the lie seems like the truth.
To be saved, you must disbelieve the lies and believe the truth instead.

Now yours is very good stuff and if I spent years trying to reconcile all the eastern and new age bullshit - I might hope to be as good at selling it as you.
But, I noticed you left out any references to the the source text on Jesus Christ.
If you are going to telling me what Jesus is or is not - I would think you might want to use the source texts for the story?
I mean I am only thinking out loud here but doesn't the bible sort of count as just about the authority on the subject.
For instance if I were going to say that Jean Luc Picard of the Star Ship Enterprise is really not from earth - would I not have to find support for such a statement in star trek episodes.
Or, might I at least argue star trek is a work of fiction.
It would seem illogical for me to say that Jean Luc Picard is real but Star Trek is fiction.
It would seem even sillier for me to say Captain Picard is a Vulcan and I know this because I am well read in other works of science fiction.
