My extensive experience with troll zoology has generated a theory which may explain the creature's motivations:

While LoZZZer repeatedly insists on the existence of a significant disconnect between online personas and 'real life' personalities, all the ET posters I've met in person are pretty much identical to who they appear to be online- No disconnect at all, really. One must therefore conclude that our resident troll has just as many friends out there as it does in here... Zero.

All people have the psychological need for at least <i>some</i> minimal degree of social contact, and since ZTroll doesn't have a single soul it can talk to without causing his peer to turn away in utter disgust & revulsion, it must resort to obtaining every single bit of its social contact right here on these forums. It simply has nowhere else to go.
