Do you know the difference between defending or explaining a point of view, and demanding that others follow it?

This is very hard to understand for some, but theism is right for me, but I am not in a position to say that theism is right for another person.

Why is that?

Because my theism is between me and my God only, not between me and any other person.

I don't know what is right for others when it comes to their personal faith, personal faith is the most personal thing I can think of...none of my business what people do, as long as they don't keep me from doing what I want to do.

I do however think that the resident militant soapbox evangelical atheists are just as much of a true believer as a Holy Roller at a revival meeting...both have an equal right to there respective faith and their religion...

I am not defending the choice at all...there is nothing to defend.

It just appears that way to you because so many of the resident ET holy roller atheists constantly attack theists in general.

I defend the right to a personal faith, but as an extension to all people, theist or atheist. It is the foundation of our country that people should be free to have their personal faith, assemble together if they want, and be free from persecution for their personal faith...as long as their personal faith is not in the business of persecuting others for alternative beliefs.

My personal faith does not need defending, because it is not between anyone but myself and my God...
