Even the FED agrees that a digital currency might be the way to go, at least to test.
And as someone mentioned, even the regulators want to protect users and whistleblowers... Go figure
A BTC still cost 16k... It was about 15$ in 2011
When it gets to 0 (not 1k...) maybe this thread will have a reason to exist.

Smart contracts are good. And the underlying technology is good. Most people only see the space as buying and selling tokens which is the tip of a large iceberg

the potential of blockchain is as great as ever. whether or not it's the future remains to be seen. i still believe blockchain investments deserve a place in a diversified long-term investment portfolio. most coins are yielding 5-20% apr which i keep compounding. *remind me of this post in 5 years
it went up and then went down...so what? This is elitetrader not elitelongtermholdforeverinvestor.comA few perhaps. But the majority like me gloat and enjoy the demise of those gunslingers and get-rich-quick folks because we have said for a long time "told ya so" but we were laughed at during the last run to the moon that was entirely fueled by hot air. Buffet is again the guy laughing at the end. He invested in railways and infrastructure and waited for top tech shares to be cheaper and now invests in stable and mature tech that most likely fully recovers sooner than any other corporation.
