I think it’s prob bc Schwager used to work for Commodities Corp in the 1980s and so he gravitated to interviewing the ppl in that network, eg Michael Marcus, Bruce Kovner, PTJ etc
Maybe after his books became widely read, he had access to a few more, but he didnt seem to have given much attention to
a) Traders outside the US
b) Traders outside East Coast institutional funds running OPM at scale
I mean, with all the Russian math comp sci whizzes out there, or the Asia/EMEA crypto junkies, gotta be some insane outliers somewhere, kinda like Olympics vs US championships
Also just wish he managed to cover George Soros though, i remember reading somewhere he couldn’t get thru even though he tried. I always thought alchemy of finance was a bit vague in terms of explaining the actual approach
