Where Are All the New Market Wizards

Seems like the only 2 wizards of the 2000s are John Arnold and CIS. All the others come from the 1980s.

Also does anyone worry that trading will change when the old wizards die off. If Jim simons, ken Griffen, ptj, druckenmiller, George soros, Bruce kovenor, and Ray Dalio die off, will trading be the same. Who will replace them and will old trading signals that work now stop working once they are no longer trading?

information wants to be free.
the internet enables the easy distribution of information.
markets run on information.
widespread freely available information cut the 'edge' formerly bogarted by the 'wizards' who may well be gifted but would have a hell of a time competing to the extent that was formerly afforded prior to the more level playing field of today.
Nonetheless, and even moreso today due to everybody and their dog gonna get rich in notime online, the old saw that Still Holds True in Spades, A fool and his money are soon parted. lol

in a nutshell, ubiquitous competition.

Don't worry my friend...future market wizard right here. And once those old geezers die off, we will have some new and improved signals to work with.
 
The new wizards of this era are the large scale trading educators - the more popular Youtube educators/promoters are making north of about $20M-$30M from their clients with profits trending up.

These promoters have gotten to be so large that students in marketing/media are studying them. They own hundred of web sites for deception in fake reviews, at the same time they will take you to court if you say anything negative about them.

It's funny when they put out a video of a losing day & put on a big act about they pain they are enduring , the only ones losing are their countless subscribers being fleeced out more $ than the vast majority will ever make in the market.

There won't be new market wizards. The allure and romanticism of trading a long time ago is gone. There's nothing romantic about sitting on your fat ass and gambling on weekly options. There might be top performing traders - but not a single one will have a story worth listening to.
