Trump is claiming that most of the non-essential federal employees are Democrats. He is probably correct.

Maybe you should try reading the title of the thread and my posts - I didn't say they are not working, I pointed out that they are not being paid. Instead of fantasizing about fantasy, you should try reading words and sentences.

All the essential employees who are employed by one of the departments impacted by the shutdown are working and not being paid. They will be paid retroactively. The US Military is not impacted by the shutdown.

You should educate yourself on the difference between departments which are closed and those which are not. You really should try harder to alleviate your ignorance

And yes, Trump is most likely completely correct in his assertion that most non-essential federal employees are likely Democrats.
