If the Democrats reverse course on Franken then they appear as hypocrites.

It will appear that they forced out Franken merely as a dog & pony show so Moore would not get elected to the Senate then reversed course as soon as it was convienent for them to do so post election.

Why not though? Why play the appear as anything game. The only thing a republican fears is a more unstable & crazy republican below him. Dems can do that with greater imagination for a while, they don't have the mindless refining skills of the Cons (a little bit too honest for their own good) but its a move.
