What's the worst that can happen if Kamala wins?

I agree with your identification of catastrophes to come, but I'll just add my view, which you already know I think, and that is: you're right, the worst will happen regardless of who's in the presidency. I believe because it is ecological overshoot driving the bus over the cliff. EO is causing the collapse of the biosphere in several regards right now, in real time. That will, with history as my guide, lead to social disorder, war, hunger, disease and more. There is no stopping it, because it is a state of affairs, not merely a process*. There is no technological fix—technology itself is what brought us to our current height (8 billion people x desire for a Malibu lifestyle).

Anyway, I digress into the whole point of my Ecological Overshoot thread.

Worse that can happen under Harris is that she, like the rest, simply cannot accept the truth of EO, or the necessity of leading an orderly and humane downsizing of the American economy to a sustainable level. Worse that can happen in the next six months is a contested election being handed by installed electors to the House.

*Think Titanic, the movie, when the ship's architect tells the captain the ship is going to founder, "She's made of iron, sir, I assure she can, and she will. It is a mathematical certainty."
:)

Just a simple question I'd like the honest answer to.

Do you believe that if Kamala is elected, she will actually be calling the shots?

Not really, no. Imo corporations, esp. the major shareholders, ARE government today. Politicians are merely their agents (and the cops are the politicians' agents).

That said, the plutocracy does allow, or at least can't prevent, some changes. Obamacare comes to mind. Biden's IRA also, but that is not opposed by our oligarchs because it is a spending program, not an entitlement. For that reason I do still see some value in voting.

I note you have absolutely zero specifics to answer my question. As I figured. Don't you have a coloring book to go work?

the *worst* might be that a lot of magatards are going to commit suicide or move to russia.

which is a good thing in my view.

I appreciate the candid response. I disagree, but I do see value in voting. In this particular case, I believe a vote cast for Trump is one for Trump (regardless of whether we like or agree with him). But a vote for Kamala is a vote for the controlling entity, which is either the MIC or some similar part of the plutocracy (to borrow your word).

Another 3rd grade response. I get more and more dumb every time I read your posts.

The MIC has just as much power over dems as it does over reps. That phone call the senator received from a donor, where he was told that if he didn't get the tax cut passed he'd never see another dollar, always comes to mind.

but YOU don't believe that "maga" is dangerous, right?

did you spend the last 7+ years under a rock?

You still haven't explained what you think is dangerous. Do I think an acronym standing for "Make America Great Again" is dangerous? Of course not.

If you're ever able to explain your thoughts in a coherent fashion (I doubt it), I'm happy to talk with you on what specifically you believe is dangerous about it.

Wholeheartedly agree. But I don't think the MIC has power over Trump, which is why so much momentum is being marshalled to ensure he doesn't get elected. If it were Haley, Biden and Kamala would be old news.
