What's the worst that can happen if Kamala wins?

This thread is for the conservatives on this forum (or from the liberals who want to offer intelligent thoughts), especially the ones who claim that the country "will be destroyed" if she wins. I hear this every election, from both sides. I remember my father telling me that if I voted for Clinton, he would destroy the country. He didn't, of course. And I voted for him the second time as well. Then I remember my liberal friends telling me the world would end if GWB (the President, not the forum NPC) won, and of course, it didn't.

I then voted for Obama the first time, hearing the same warnings from my dad, and other conservatives about the end of everything. Then even I fell for it and voted for Romney the second time around, and I thought if Obama won, the end of the world would happen. And, again, it didn't. Same thing with Trump from the liberals, and then Biden. And now here it is all over again "the most important election of our lives".

These are just bullshit scare tactics. I don't like Trump, but I support far more policies he supposedly stands for. Kamala is just annoying, and I think she's an idiot, but she'd get my vote if I liked her policy. The problem is its not her policies, but those of her handlers that we need to figure out. I'm making the assumption they'll be the same as Biden, as the puppet master over Biden is going to be the same master over Kamala. You folks on the left can claim this is bullshit, but deep down you know it's true.

Regardless, I'm on record on this forum as saying the "establishment" isn't going to let Trump win. They just won't. So I believe Kamala wins this.

If she does, what is the worst that can happen? Let's hear it.

The worst that can happen could happen regardless of which one of these nitwts gets elected. What is the worst? WWIII tops the list. Major economic collapse runs a close second. Congress, corporations, alphabet agencies will drive us towards these calamities more than any president will. All that aside, what a Kamala presidency does is give us a continuation of lowering standards across the board so people can feel good about supposed progress. IMO we just continue to circle the drain in a long slow process of diminished returns in our political system.

I agree with your identification of catastrophes to come, but I'll just add my view, which you already know I think, and that is: you're right, the worst will happen regardless of who's in the presidency. I believe because it is ecological overshoot driving the bus over the cliff. EO is causing the collapse of the biosphere in several regards right now, in real time. That will, with history as my guide, lead to social disorder, war, hunger, disease and more. There is no stopping it, because it is a state of affairs, not merely a process*. There is no technological fix—technology itself is what brought us to our current height (8 billion people x desire for a Malibu lifestyle).

Anyway, I digress into the whole point of my Ecological Overshoot thread.

Worse that can happen under Harris is that she, like the rest, simply cannot accept the truth of EO, or the necessity of leading an orderly and humane downsizing of the American economy to a sustainable level. Worse that can happen in the next six months? A contested election being handed by installed electors to the House.

So let's discuss this.

Do you really believe that Kamala getting elected leads to WWIII? I think policy as usual continues to agitate Russia (with idiotic support of the Ukraine). I also think that a weaker projected power from the US (Trump would certainly project strength) results in more regional flare ups. But while Kamala is stupid, her handlers aren't. I do wonder to what extent her handlers are bought by the MIC (Military Industrial Complex). So they'll continue to push for conflict, that much is sure.

Economic collapse is going to happen no matter which of these buffoons is put in charge. At least Kamala will try to raise taxes on some groups (like corporations), even though I don't think she'll be successful. Someone has to balance the budget. Trump will just allow for corporate taxes to remain low, allow for loopholes and spend like a drunken sailor.
