What's the best way to make money in THIS bear market?

Sell the wife & kids, tell the grand kids to go f**k themselves, sell the house, invesment props, cars, stamp collections, coin collections. Your wife had you relegated to the basement anyways and you stillhad to pay for college and her perfumes and jewelry and whtnot and got no p***y.

Go massively SHORT for ALL of it except for f**kyou money for 2 years. Then pack a small suitcase and backpack and make sure you include high quality cologne for your balls and then bugger off to the relatively isolated beach of your choice anywhere in the world & live like a Lord. don't even bother to look at the markets more than once a week for 20 seconds.

STAY away from ET. Why? Because THEY will all be LONG.

SHORT SHORT SHORT like a mudderf%^$$@$ is the way to BE

Now now, Margin, how are you going to collect your 25K from me if you put me on /block? Couldn't handle the /ignore feature any longer?

Hahaha! I won! You owe me $25K!

Just and genuinely to understand, as far as i know the inverse ETF are reset every day and this is not good I guess to maintain them more days, so may be better a put or going short(for few days, weeks, month) with some calculated micro emini with a far expiration date. Or do i miss something or you mean in a day trading framework? Thanks!

I do not day trade. These trades are for the long term and you are going for larger returns by riding the reverse index ETFs trends which are all up. The larger and faster the stockmarket drops, the larger the gains. You would buy a call option if you want to trade the reverse index ETFs using options. This is like going long although, the reverse index ETFs are in fact shorting the US stockmarket indexes.

Like, the reason not to short SPY and buy an inverse ETF instead is because of margin? Can this be wrong?

Without knowing your trading plan and capitalization I should keep my mouth shut. You are right.

I believe SPY pays a dividend so if you're holding it short when it goes ex-divy you'll be paying that divy, not collecting it.In addition to the CTB/SLB fee.
