whats happening with RIMM??

Lost patent appeal .... Nice play if you are short ....How much will it reduce on re-open ? ...anybodys guess ... but maybe 10 - 15 dollars....
 
US court rejects RIM's bid to rehear patent case

WASHINGTON, Oct 7 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Friday refused to reconsider an earlier ruling that upheld patent infringement charges against the Canadian company that makes the Blackberry e-mail device.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said on its Web site it had turned down a request by Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) (RIMM.O: Quote, Profile, Research) asking that all the judges on the court reconsider the ruling of a three-judge panel, which concluded that the Blackberry infringed 11 patents held by a U.S. patent holding company called NTP Inc.

PALM rallied almost 2 1/2 points after RIMM was halted. Has now sold off. Aynone got a take on whether PALM has any legs here on the heels of this appeals ruling? (no pun intended) :D
