What time frames do you check for intraday trading

I use a 30-minute chart with a daily volume profile and a longer-term composite volume profile. A 1-minute footprint chart and a 5 range footprint chart. I also use the price ladder & time/sales. For my style of trading, I do not believe a daily or 5 minute chart would be useful.

on daytrading charts I check pivots with 10- and 15-minute candles to find hammers/ s stars/b. engulfing etc to confirm

I use a variation of your volume weighted moVing average also, especially if i'm looking @ one of my chart services that has no volume weighted moving average. In that case i use discretion. Considered cutting a loss on my DXD, but its going up now/so took small profits on UDOW.......:D:D:D:D:D:D,:caution::caution::caution:Use bid \ask time frame some , not much.

1 3 and/or 5 minutes to see the color of the candle form, and 3days/1wk 30 minutes to see directions, among other indicators.

5 minute could work well in a bullmarket;
too much noise for me. Daily is part of it for me \ but i would rather use discretion + cut a 30 minter chart in 50% than use 15 minute candles ....................................................

Its not something I do much of but the conventional approach would be to use the time-frame most relative to your desired entry and positions and refer to the next longer time-frame chart to confirm trend direction and ensure that your shorter time-frame trade is in line with the prevailing trend. Two should be enough.

I use 4 timeframes: daily, 15 minute, 5 minute and 1 minute. Daily - to understand where the stock is going and whether there is movement in it. 15 minutes to identify pullbacks using different patterns. 1 minute for trading (entry and exit) and 5 minutes for trading.

When preparing a trade, my EMS screen has a 2-day 5-min candle chart and market depth to see price, volume, and exchange liquidity. My trades are no longer thaaat big, but sometimes I will still soak up the entire displayed liquidity at marketable prices. For smaller trades, I use the midpoint algo, and for larger ones, I use a VWAP in a set period. If I need to quickly enter/exit, there are a few other good algos.
