He's a former law enforcement officer. Are you?

I dont know...Zimmerman was out on $1,000,000 bond. After he was found not guilty, the judge said "The bond will be released back to you now."
So he is getting $100k right off the bat.
Quote from TGregg:
I know someone who had to post bond once. She put up 10% ($500 or a grand, can't recall) and when the trial was over she was out the 10%. If Z put up 100 large on a million, I don't think he's getting it back. Things might be different in Florida than NC though.
George gets his money back if he put up the entire bail. But, if he used a bail bondsman and he put up just 10% then that is the bail bondsman's fee for putting up the entire bail.Quote from TGregg:

If Z put up 100 large on a million, I don't think he's getting it back - it was the fee to the bailbond company, not the actual bond itself. Things might be different in Florida than NC though. And (in the case I described) the perp was found guilty, while Z was aquitted - so maybe the state refunds the bailbond fee.

You just admitted you have no idea what you're talking about - again.

So, if the bail was $1 million and George put up $100,000 for a bond then the bail bondsman gets his $1 million back and he also keeps George's $100,000 for taking the risk of losing his million dollars.
