NCZ Commodities, Inc. (aka Niederhoffer Investments, Inc.) was founded in 1980. In 1997 Viktor blew up. So it was impossible to make 30% consistently over 20 years, as 1997 minus 1980 is only 17 years. In 2007 he blew up again so it could not be between 1997 and 2007 as this is only 10 years. And after 2007 is impossible too, because we can only know this in 2027.
And what is the use to make 35% during 20 years and then blow up? It would be better to make 5% and not blow up. That result would have been much better.

So this story probably is a story, nothing else. If you pretend to make 30% a year Marketsurfer would ask you proof. But now he does not.

Huh? Your reasoning is faulty. Have you considered that VN traded long before NCZ was formed and that NCZ was formed due to his previous success? VIc's lifestyle and possessions make his success quite believable-- heck the guy's dad was a cop so he certainly wasn't born into $$.

soros invested some money with VN. VN made some money on it and then started losing. VN closed the account and gave it back the money to Soros. Soros praised him for closing the acct (most money managers would have continued to trade and lose). Soros did not invest with VN again. End of story.
