and that book #2 should ONLY be followed by Christians?

who WAS sincere in his beliefs. But as he grew up and learned
to think properly, shed himself of all the BUNK he was brainwashed
with as a child. This stuff is not only bunk, its OBVIOUSLY bunk

If you're going to keep misquoting me, I'm going to go onto another subject. I never said the above.
One more time: Christians are under obligation to follow the Old Testament unless it is specifically nulled in the New Testament which was clearly done for the Law.
I don't have a Bible with me but in Galatians, Romans and Hebrews and dozens of other places it clearly states that Christians are not under the Jewish Law. If you're seriously interested, pm me and I'll send you a dozen clear references when later when I can get to a Bible.
All I can ask is where are you getting this stuff? Do you know one Christian on the planet that is trying to follow the Jewish law?

At the time of Christs' death the sun was darkened and the curtain in the temple was torn in two. At this point in time the old law was fulfilled and set aside and a new covenant was initiated. The sacrifices were set aside because the ultimate sacrifice had been offered. The stoning was to have stopped and a new method of dealing with these things was ushered in. The commands for morality were never set aside.

Having raised one hyper-active rebellious kid and seeing him go the moral route it interests me to see the reasons surrounding those that went the other way.
This kid now has a hyper-active rebellious kid of his own to deal with. He always thought I was too hard on him but now sees it was mainly in his own eyes at the time. Such as the time he wanted me to give him his own 30/30 at age 5. He thought I was being hard on him. I wanted to protect him and all around him. Being hyper-active and rebellious is just really extreme self centeredness. What's new?

Because of gods saving grace and the death of his son Jesus(if believed and accepted) we are saved and free from the law. BUT....BUT... BUT.. BUT, BUT *IF* we don't keep the law afterwards, that is proof that we are just "posers" and weren't really saved. Either way of course the law must be kept or you are not going to heaven.
When logic is applied it, it turns out to be nothing more than a "righteousness by works" trip with a lowered barrier for easy entry.
