What makes you angry when you trade?

Do you succeed? Because sometimes I don't.
Oh that is tricky now isn't it? Keeping calm in every situation is by no means an easy feat As for me I have realized that I tend to win sometimes and sometimes I lose my patience. Guess I have a long way to go before I can achieve that kind of calm.:)

What makes me angry when I trade? When I have not placed a detractor on ignore in ET.

I get angry. My dog is normally sitting at my feet during the day but when I start swearing she puts her ears back and nervously goes and sits in a corner somewhere in the house as far from me as possible.

There is not a lot, but the following two things are at the top of my list .

  1. Price goes against me immediately and goes and fiddles around near my stop.
  2. As I enter price movement stops altogether. Then, as I decide to exit my position (usually after it has been stuck in choppy price action forever), price rips to my original target.

Here is a picture of my dog.

I can be patient but at the same time that provokes pretty significant amount of stress for me. I feel wrung out afterwards.

Not following my tradeplan and then missing a signal.
By default it is almost always a good signal and a big profit that I miss.
In general I never miss a bad signal.

Nothing really makes me angry when I trade. Sometimes I make mistakes; I am disappointed in myself, but try to see it as a learning experience.

Oh wait.... Internet connection going down right after I enter a position. That makes me PISSED. Literally storming around the house in a panic unplugging and re-plugging routers etc. Then yelling at my Internet Service Provider and cancelling my subscription (yes this has actually happened)
