What makes you angry when you trade?

Yeah, we had found a foster home that assured us that he would be well taken care of. They put him outside in a dog run in November. I went to visit unannounced and grabbed his ass right out of the dog run. I did leave a note.

I've read several places that poodles are the smartest dogs out there. A few people I've known that had them agreed. Mine is a corgi. He's got a huge vocabulary and he's pretty smart. Very routine oriented as most pups are.

Your pups just need to figure out what you want them to do - and where.

What makes me angry when I trade?

When the dog comes to get me and pretends something is important...like he needs to go outside or there is some giant threat lurking.... and I buy into it. I may have three orders working and I'm walking them down - but I can't have him shitting in the den!!! I get up and follow him and he leads me to a sock on the floor or just stares at some blank spot on a wall without really saying anything.

I get angry that I keep falling for it.

seems he's trained you!

I've never had a Poodle until inheriting one and it's obvious to me that they're at the top of that list. Our 12yo has a distinct bark for #1 vs #2 which is just nuts. The twins are insane. Constant monitoring and now treats when they do their biz seems to be working.

When I believe with full conviction (and reason) about which way the market’s gonna go but then it runs away in the opposite direction.
if you trade on predicting direction you should get into another profession. there is no successful trader who makes a living that way.

maybe those distinct barks are buy and sell signals.

I don't really like these kinds of cliches. There is at least one trader succeeding in every different way imaginable. Good technical traders know when direction is about to change.
My anger existed during high volatility, had to stay away from it.
More volatility is just more potential money. Try to adjust your trading approach (take profits earlier) for different levels of volatility (some advice I need to take from time to time myself..)

technical traders don't make predictions. they act based on their technical indicators.

Well maybe we don't try to make outright predictions everyday, but from time to time, the market tells you exactly where it is going..
